My autocross car.
I recently joined this forum when I bought my 94 LS400 daily driver. But I've been a Toyota guy for a long time. I thought some of you might get a kick out of my auotcross car. It's a 1984 Toyota Celica. We call him Tom Celica. SCCA FSP car. Not fast, but tons of fun. I have some off season projects that might help him get a little more competitive.
No, it's not a Lexus. Hope that's okay. If not, feel free to delete this.

nice! the rears tires look real wide with those slicks. what other suspension mods have you done to autox this thing?
fyi, i have special place in my heart for these because many years ago I learned to drive stick in a yellow and black 2 toned 5 speed 82 celica hatchback. It was my dads car and it had black rocker panels and fenders. When I crashed my first car, I drove around in it for nearly a year with a 45 mile commute. I never worked on it, but it was carbeurated and the 22r never let me down. The interior was brown the striped front seats were legit with lots of adjustments and lower back support-i believe you could pump it up to give your more support for your lower back. I also remember i didnt have to press the clutch to get the trans into neutral, and the speedo only went to 85 mph lol .

The tires are 275/35-15 Hoosiers on 15x10 wheels. The fenders had to be cut to clear them. The front suspension is Ground Control coil overs with 1000 lb. springs and Koni 8610 race struts. Rear is Swift springs for an AE86 and custom made Penske shocks. It has a Kaaz 2 way LSD in it as well. The engine is basically a stock rebuild. The rules don't allow a whole lot, but there is work to do there. I did get a Megasquirt on it last winter. Lots of work yet to do, but it sure is fun to drive.
