All of the RCF shocks have been switched from ZF Sachs that were there in the 2015 - 2022 RCFs (both adjustable and non-adjustables were ZF sachs) while the 2023 RCFs have the Hitachi/Tokico shocks. The RCF TE has the same dampers with slightly more stiffer rebound in SPORT+ mode (compression is the same).

My 2019 IS350 F-Sport AWD has AVS shocks that are made by Hitachi/Tokico. Obviously, RCF has different dampers, but I would still pick ZF Sachs as a brand over Hitachi/Tokico any day.

Hitachi rebranded the Tokico suspension line to their name. Hitachi merged with Tokico back in 2004.

I'd rather have Japanese-built Hitachi/Tokico over my ZF Sachs shocks made in Slovakia.

What’s the part number on these and how do you get them? I keep coming up with ignition coils:

You wont find Lexus/Toyota OE part numbers there. Only at the dealer or access to the epc.

It’s kinda cool it has Tokikos on them now. It’s very Japanese of them. There was a time not long ago that a lot of cool motorcycles were using them as a great stock performance suspensions.

Yes but at the same time Sachs was being used on the high end motorcycles. Ducati, BMW, Aprillia, etc. I don’t know how I feel about the change.
