Hi all. I posted a question a few weeks ago about splitters and someone shared a link to Maxton Design. I couldn’t find anyone who has used their parts on a RC F but they sell a huge amount of parts for other cars due to their low cost. I’m a sucker for a good deal so I figured I’d give it a shot and went with the whole kit. I ordered from the US site and though it said 3-5 weeks for manufacturing it came within a week. It all came packaged nicely with through bolt hardware for the front clip and rear spats, self tappers for the skirts and rear diffuser (I would recommend black nail polish on the diffuser hardware because it’s somewhat visible. There was a hat and two calendars in the box as well. At first I thought the finish was questionable but that was only the clear protective film. Once peeled off the finish was piano black and perfect. The pieces feel flimsy but once mounted they are strengthened by the flush fit. You have to drill all your own holes which I prefer because my body panels are not perfect and this allowed me to place hardware in the best place possible to pull the pieces together without gaps. I pulled all the panels off the car, completing one at a time and reinstalling. I also took the time to clean under the panel and inside the panels. It was my first time ever removing a body panel and the whole job took 5hr with no help. It was very easy, just time consuming to line up everything perfect. The hardest two bolts are the rear bumper inside wheel well bolts but Lexus was awesome and cut a section where a finger can slip in there and hold the screw so you don’t drop the bolt into the rear fender area.( big note! The rear bumper was the least crucial to remove and could probably be easy done without removing the bumper with some ramps). The pieces are hollow on the bottom. Probably, not very durable so if you hit the clip on a sidewalk it’s probably not going to flex, it’s going to break. I’m fine with that seeing that they are less than half the price of any other splitter available.
Overall very satisfied for the money, less than 900 for everything with shipping.
It’s not super aggressive and I feel like it flows really well with the styling letting the cars look shine while just adding a little accenting.
Randomly saw this guy in a R8 v10 stopping to check out this LC 5 hundo so I swung in to check out this R8 checking out a LC 500. Infinite car universe type stuff.

I like everything but I'm more of a fan of the lip type that fans up at the corners. Where did you get this kit and for how much?
