i don't have a "track edition" but i do have a fuji. if that works for you, drop me a pm with where i can find that tag and i can try to help.
There was post or two about TVD = Torque Vectoring Differential..
With the photos I saw of Track / Fuji Editions @LPDS, I was just throwing the info reminder that those special editions do not have that option. They ONLY come with the mechanical Torsen LSD.
Same unit found on the base RC F w/ Torsen LSD.
@sensai It’s found on the drivers side housing of the actual differential… Here is a little further back photo when we dropped in an RC F TORSEN LSD into MY08 IS F.

It was not in regards to the RCF TE/FSW. That was more in response to the performance driving school as someone was asking if they teach how to use the different modes at the driving school. I shared my experience over the year with TVD and how the different modes behave.
Went to the LPDS yesterday at Laguna Seca outside of Monterey, CA. Day started foggy and stayed with some fog until noon. Can't say I enjoyed it. Biggest issue was the discussions/lectures were all in unheated garages and temps were really in the mid-40s until afternoon. They do a slick job of splitting the 36 folks up into 3 teams of 12. You do about a total of 10-15 minutes of driving throughout the 8 hour day. The rest is spent swapping tales with the other students or getting talked at. Drive the track itself in follow the leader style in the morning. Dunno what it would have been like in the afternoon since I bailed after the second slalom session. Drifting is harder than it looks. The slalom was more fun that I thought it would be and practice does make you better at it--like all skills, I suppose. Actual on-track is set up so you know when to brake and the big lesson of the day was to look where you are going--something I already knew from riding my motorcycle the past 50 years and finding a fast "line" through curves or around corners--again, something I already knew from sailboat racing.
Glad to get behind the wheel of an IS 500 and LC 500 since it confirmed to me that I got the right car for me. The IS 500 felt cheap. While the LC had better interior appointments, it just isn't laid out as well as I'd hoped with ugly ***** coming out of unusual places.
Happy to have done it, won't do it again. Not worth the money.

Not sure why the word **** (as in the thing you pull on the door or cabinet) is asterisked out. How can that offend anyone?
Don't regret leaving early. I found out what I wanted to know. Like any skill, you need to practice to get better and there are few opportunities to practice. Driving a car for fun on a track isn't a skill I want to pursue since it really wasn't that much fun (for me, YMMV).
I was at LPDS the same day at Laguna Seca and I thought it was worth the cost (for me at least).
Started the day with 3 laps around the autocross track in brand new IS500's.
Followed that up with 3 laps around Laguna Seca in LC500's and then a brake test.
They also had a Michelin tire rep that talked about Lexus OEM tire development. He said there is no way to tell if you are getting Lexus spec tires unless you purchase them through Lexus since the tire itself does not indicate the difference.
After lunch, we did 3 laps around the autocross in the IS500's for times followed by a hot lap with Scott Pruett in the IS500. Scott beat all our times with 4 people in the car. The IS500 is a softer car than the RCF, but would make a nice daily driver that can be pushed pretty hard.
Then some drifting in the RCF. I was a little disappointed that I didn't get to drive the RCF around Laguna Seca, but the LC500's made up for that.
Last thing was 9 more laps around Laguna Seca in the LC500's at an ever increasing pace (depending on the slowest person in your group). Finally some hot laps with a pro driver around Laguna Seca.
Wish I could have gotten a ride with Scott in the RCF Fuji. He was seriously cooking that car around the track.
That was seriously fun and I was really impressed with the LC500.
We drove these cars hard all day long on the rev limiters and never had any issues other than some smoking tires and brakes.
I'd definitely do the Master Class. That's done with RCF Fuji editions and one on one with an instructor.
That last reply looks rather Bot'ish, but I did get notified of the upcoming 2023 LPDS and I'll be going to at least 2 of the events, maybe 3.
I did the Indy track in July and had a complete and total blast!! Well worth the $$, top notch in every regard and learned quite a bit. Definitely would recommend for anyone who has yet to go to a performance driving school!!
