Default TPMS Question

I purchased a new set of wheels. My ride is a 2017 Infrared RCF with the Performance Package, Takeda intake and Swift springs. Lowering the car am inch with the Swift springs made the look so much better. New wheels are the Titan 7 TS-5, 19 inch in Satin Titanium. I’m putting the existing Michelin tires on the Titan wheels because my car only has 8k miles and the tires are still good. My question is...can I just remove the TPMS from the factory wheels and put them on to the new Titan wheels? I read something online saying the battery in the TPMS is supposed to last up to 10 years so the units should still be good.

i know lots of you changed wheels so I just need some advice. Thanks in advance.

Swift Springs installed. Lowered front and rear by about an inch. Looks great!

If they fit the new wheels, sure you can. Try to keep the corner positions of the TPMS the same with the new wheels as they were with the old. I like your choice of wheels

Mahalo (thank you) for the information. I’ll try to do that. Can’t wait for my new wheels to come in!
