i don’t have an ISF anymore. When I had it and got the repair done I found that after 8 months (instead of 4) it went back down to low. I think they goofed on the repair. Many ISF guys have experienced having the O ring pinched that would lead to a “go back” on a repair. But many have had the repair done in one shot and no issues after.

^^^^From what I understand, a gasket or O ring is not used. It's sealed with an adhesive or sealant. There are two types as I understand it, and the recommended sealant was changed during the course of the ISF's production.

Post #355 from viperz...pcv box seals labeled as o rings....

Yes the sealant has changed but was this truly determined as the cause? Even Lobuxracer wasn’t sure.

^^^^viperz is talking about pcv box seals. He's mentioning other good things to do when performing the valley plate repair.

post 538 I think they Stuart mentioning about pinching the o ring. I believe the video I posted mentions an o ring as well right after he removes the intake manifold

There are two o-rings sealing the tube from the timing cover to the valley plate connection. If those are not installed correctly, and we've heard of a few cases on this forum where they were not, then you could still have a leak after the valley plate is fixed and properly sealed.
