If I wanted to make it a little louder, I would delete the resonators, but I am happy with it as it is. Most people combine Invidia full catback with PPE equal length headers to get similar sound.

Like VBB stated above, Invidia run somewhere in the $1500 range and around $2000 for the PPE equal length headers. Here is how Invidia + PPE EL headers sound

This is my video when I got the Invidia installed. It still looks like this after using it for over 1 year.

That's a really good option. Are you able to get those savage downshift sounds and that crazy "ditditditdit" when you bounce off the limiter?

Yes, that is right. It is the engine itself making those noise at the rev limiter. Aftermarket exhaust makes it more louder/pronounced as fuel is cutting out at just around 7450 rpm. I don't have headers, but headers also amplify it even more. SIKKY, ARH or PPE headers seem to be the top choices.

Sorry about poor quality video (POV camera MIC was not capturing sound well). You can hear my savage downshifts at 0:15 and 0:35..It is manual/sport+ mode.

Here is a better video with Novel headers and Invidia exhaust. You can hear the rev limiter clearly with Invidia. BTW, Novel headers are super expensive mostly for sound, but ARH, SIKKY or PPE have the best performance and a fraction of the price.

Owned a 2015 RCF for a period of time. I really loved that car. I wish it had more low end torque but I bought this for the styling and the Lexus reliability. Had 0 issues. I did some changes - K&N filters and Magna Flow exhaust - cat back. Installed the Magnaflo's and was super easy. I loved them - wife hated them as they were still fairly loud inside the cabin. Ended up trading in on an LC500. Still wish I had more low end torque but like the styling also. Miss the size though as the RC felt more nimble than the LC.

Looked at Porsche and loved that but not at a spot for the fairly expensive maintenance costs. Have not been a fan of Audi, VM or BMW. Hear great things about them so really what you're looking for. I was searching for great styling, nice interior and reliability. Lexus was that model for me.

I had a talk with my wife tonight about 3 cars I'm considering. The RCF, the v10 m5, and v10 m6(you can see that my only goal is exotic sounding exhaust). The m5 and m6 can be had for substantially less than a used RCF but the maintenance/repair Bill's can get up there pretty quick. In the long run, it still might be cheaper to spend $35k up front with a few repairs than to spend $15k up front and have to put $5-10k into it every year.

Oooooo...E60 M5. I can YouTube engine sounds from that car all day.

if you’re really considering a BMW then I throw my vote in for an E90/92 M3. If you pick one up for 20k you can easily have the rod bearings and throttle actuators replaced with the 15k left that you were going to spend on the RCF. The question is...what else will go wrong. But with a 8,300rpm redline you may not care.

Haha. I hear you. But that rod bearing issue is an issue that will reoccur every 40-50k miles. Same on the v10 m5/m6. So it will always be a nuisance. But the sound that those cars make is just too good for words.
