Default Looking at buying an RCF

Should this info about the car scare me off?

THIS WAS THE VEHICLE THAT HAD THE FLUIDS DRAINED LAST YEAR FOR A SPECIAL DISPLAY PROJECT FOR RIDEAND DRIVE. ~|~ ~|~REPLACED ALL FLUIDS/REPLACED MISSING STARTER RELAY/REPLACED BOTH FRTWORN TIRES/PROGRAMMED SENSORS

Looks like the car was used for promo and then purchased by a Lexus employee. How/why would the front tires be worn if all fluids were drained and was a display car?

Tires tend to develop flat spots if you leave it parked in the same spot for a very long time. How many miles on it?

I wasn't thinking about flat spots... that makes sense. Car now has 44K miles. Has 4 owners, 2 in CA, 1 in TX, and 1 in VA

My biggest concern was not knowing how long it sat drained of all fluids for the Ride and Drive event.

Especially if they are summer tires and parked while "hot", then later driven hard without proper time to warm up.

So no comments on the fact this car sat with no fluids and was hauled around for a year? Am I wrong to worry about it?

Yeah, definitely something to avoid. When a car is parked for extended periods of time (like I park mine for the winter), I make sure all fluids are topped up and there is a full tank of gas to avoid issues in the fuel lines.

I would worry about it. Dry damaged seals possible. Was the rear diff empty? Did they roll it around with no gear oil in the Diff? Cant be good for an engine to sit dry? It may be no big deal, but it also may cause issues.

Yeah... concerns me. I am driving a Liquid Platinum 2015 RCF tomorrow. Going to decide between the RCF and the RC 350. I really want Molten Pearl... If I get the RC 350, I have my eye on one, If I want the RCF I am going to have to play the waiting game for Molten.... could be a while, I assume Molten is pretty rare.

My advice is, skip all of the modes and put it in sport+/manual and TVD in shalom if it has one. It will put in the most aggressive mode. Also, check the type of tires and pressure should be over 36 psi in the screen for alll four tires to have the best steering response in turns. It should give you a good idea of both the capabilities and how well kept the car has been by the previous owner. The way mine is setup up, I can carry 70+ mph on some sweeping turns and it corners flat with sme rotation in the back from the TVD.
