I currently have a leased 05 es330 which I will return back in may. My questions is, do I have to replace the tires before I return the car if the tires are worn out?

I think I read something like this for Honda cars and I was wondering if it is true with Lexus cars as well.

 

My Lexus lease states that I have to return the car with 5 matching tires with 4/32" remaining tire tread. I would advise you to replace the tires soon and drive the balance of the lease on good/safe tires. I had hoped that I could get through my 36K lease without buying tires but I'm not even going to be close so will soon be buying new tires.
