My timing is quite imminent. I supposedly sold my car (Bank wire supposed to show up Friday) and an guy is flying in on Saturday to pick it up (sight unseen). I could make it by sharing wifey's car for a short period though.
I like the one at my local dealer (1st post) but will continue looking. It is a striking Mica blue over red.
Prefer the larger nav screen of the 2018. Prefer the TVD. Parts of the 2019 refresh are nice. None of these are show stoppers for me based on my real world driving needs.
I have also heard several exhaust files and I like how the aftermarket livens this car up, although my wife will most certainly disagree.
Below is the Before followed by the potential After.
Downsizing financially, up-sizing on ingress/egress and comfort
Wife had hip replacement and has trouble getting in/out of the 911. Also, I am having back issues that also creates some interesting situations for me. That said, I have owned many performance/sports cars and the 911 does most everything right. It's a better car than I am a driver and the handling is amazing. I've had nearly 3 great years with it and every time I change cars, I never look back.

Similar reasons why I picked one up.
I have 2016, so no Lexus AVS (available 2017+), and in Sport+ suspension mode (the most aggressive) imo it is easier/comfortable on me than the pcar base suspension.
All other suspension settings very easy on you. Getting in and out is no issue with the RCF.
I did Carvana for my 1st RC F and it was a disaster. Too many undisclosed issues. I ended up returning it. Meanwhile they shipped my trade in from Indiana to Texas and started stripping parts from it. Was super pissed as they promised it would stay local and untouched during my 1week grace period. Ended up finally getting the cars swapped back and a cash settlement for their screw ups. My trade in actually came back with missing parts. For example, They pulled the locking lug nuts and didn't replace them, each wheel was missing a lug nut. And some carbon fiber parts were just gone.
Wow what a disaster. Caravan had zero results for me... but just wow. All those reviews online for them fake?

It's a little tougher getting in and out vs. my old M2. Op, have you considered a Macan S or GTS?

I have serious back issues and the Lexus is a car I can drive all day. It is an amazing street car you can drive on the track.
Going from a 911 to RCF is not even a lateral move IMO. I had a cayman, and probably the best handling car I’ve owned, and that’s just a cayman.
I left my ISF for a 911 years ago and after a long flirtation with Porsche (had a 911, 911 Turbo, a Cayman and a Boxster at different times) I happily came back to the RCF. The Lexus is just an easier car to live with as a daily driver, and to spec a Porsche with the same level of creature comforts that come with most Lexus cars is very expensive. It got to the point that I felt I had way too much money tied up in a vehicle I only drove a few times a week. That said, from a performance standpoint the 911 is superior in every way. It's perhaps the best 2nd or 3rd car anyone could own.
To the OPs question though, the RCF you're looking at is specced well. You might find something similar for a few thousand less, but you might not. They're much more rare than the 911, so when you find a car that fits all of your wants, I wouldn't let a thousand or two push you off of it.

After driving the 911 for 3 years, I will agree that it is one car that does most everything well.
Regarding the blue RCF, I found after doing due diligence that body and paint repair was performed ($2,600) on the car yet it has a clean carfax and the dealer did not bother to mention. Even though it was not major damage, it is enough for me to move on. Unfortunately, finding a RCF local is not going to happen, need to go to Northern VA or MD.
I may also look at LC500 while there looking at RCF. Am I crazy? I am finding that the LC has a faster depreciation curve and "financially" looks like the better deal. I guess I need to drive both.

Wife just had abdominal surgery and we purchased an RCF. In all honesty, I cant imagine its that much easier to get in/out of than a 911.
seems a little high. end of march this year i bought my 2017 liquid platinum with 13,800 miles, certified, the exact same build minus orange calipers and plus all weather package for $50.5k USD. mine had more miles but imo 9,000 miles difference is negligible for this car. i'm not a fan of the orange calipers...personal preference. the rc f market has also come down a bit in the last 6mo's.
fun fact: one of the things i thought was cool about buying certified is the two extra years on warranty AND the warranty also converts to unlimited miles.
First, I am looking at the Macan GTS. It does a lot of things very well for a midsize SUV. Plus the gauge cluster is very familiar.
I have seen some pics of the orange RCF and it is stunning, but still not for me. Best of luck with your sale. I understand the M2 is quite the package as well.
