Default TPMS problem

Anyone here have the same problem as me. After i change to aftermarket wheels with aftermarket Tpms sensors the car does not display PSI on the screen, i got them copied to the factory id's and i went as far as getting a different set of tpms program with random id's and i still get nothing. I have all the tools to program the id's and program to the car. Any help would be great

I would check the frequency of the aftermarket TPMS sensors - It could possibly be the wrong frequency - RCFs run at 315 MHz. Another reason could be that there is a duplicated ID (two or more sensors that have the same ID), in this case, the car computer will not show any values.

I had recently purchased replacement sensors from Autel that have dual band frequencies, metal stem, and come with the wireless programmer.

I'm going to try and reset mine from the dash screen. I will let you know if it ends up working.

I thought you could clone the sensor ID's using the new MAXITPMS Autel Sensors (as a second set) but as long as you don't have both sensors with the same ID near the car, then it should be okay?

Yeah, I had similar last year when putting snows on my wife's ES. I bought a set of mounted snows with aftermarket TPMS sensors. NO PSI numbers. We ended up returning the wheels and tires and just getting snows for the Lexus wheels.

I have recently installed the same autel aftermarket sensors that i have posted above. Get the Carista App with the OBD2 dongle and read what your current IDs are. It could be that the car's sensor IDs are blanked / wiped out, if so, generate random IDs and program the car as well as the sensors using Carista, and the TPMS wireless programmer (if going with the same Autel sensors as above).

Below are some quick pics of pre-and-post install. Ready for winter.

Post back with your findings, best of luck!
