Hello. I was very close to destroy front lip yesterday and decided to add a front cam of possible integratated to the center display. Any successful attempt?
Way too much work involved to have total integration.
I find it way easier just back my RCF in every time.

I disagree, I installed my front camera on Saturday, had it done from start to finish in about 2.5 hours. You can't back in every where you go, I was at Jekyll Island and its all 'angle' front street parking (one way streets), front camera was my reasoning based on that.
Video Interface : Beat Sonic (http://www.beatsonicusa.com/cs5ep.html)
*because I have the RCF I was able to select the OEM camera button option (button does not fit the GSF per Lexus notes).
Camera : eBay (because I did not like Beat Sonic version, or the price, chose this one because of the size and how its powered). eBay LINK. I unscrewed the head and removed the mounting clip and screwed the head piece back on, fitted it between the veins on front grill.
Installation Notes:
1. Put a flash light in driver footwell near firewall and fender, just for light reasons.
2. Open hood and go to where the rubber grommet is that protects the wires that passes through the car. You'll see on that grommet a rubber tube (looks like a thick nipple/stem), cut the tip (I pulled it till it breaks from the grommet/rip it off) and you'll see the light shining inside the car!
3. I used some 10gauge wire and just fed it in there, attached the RCA camera wire to it and pulled it through. Before you pull too much through to feed where your camera will be located, put heat shrink on it so that you can shrink close that nipple opening again.
4. Hide wire, be creative, I removed the plastic piece that covers the fender side and it exposes the fender/body and just ran the wire under there safely along the hood latch cable.
5. Everything else is pretty basic... hide wires, safely secure, etc etc.
6. When you remove the dashboard screen, there is indeed a lot of room behind it, using light shining you can easily find a path from footwell to behind the screen. Take your time, you'll be fine. Connect the video bypass device from Beat Sonic as described and you're done.
The whole process can be done in less than 2 hours, I was doing other things like steering wheel swap and so on, but its straight forward... just remember to disconnect the NEG battery before starting, I don't know if this is important on this Lexus, but I know in some cars that if you remove the radio or such it bricks that device as it thinks it was stolen... again I don't know if that applies to this Lexus (I know it does on my Porsche) or not but I wasn't chancing it.
