Was anyone able to find the proper codes for the new custom spec RC-F tires?

Yes, see below for Michelin site link where 2020 RCF OEM PS4S SL are listed. The non-XL (SL) versions for RCF size are the OEM PS4S while the XL-rated ones are extra load rated standard PS4S above in my screenshot. I decided against the PS4S OEM for 2020 RCF and went with the extra load rated PS4S tires for the kevlar reinforced stiffer sidewalls and having driven it for almost a year, it really makes a difference having stiff sidewalls (that the OEM PSS SL did not have). The car stays flat under hard turning a lot more compared to the OEM PSS SL and the sidewalls push the load back to the center under hard turning by resisting deformation/squishing. Very happy with them.

If you wish to get the OEM 2020 RCF/TE PS4S tires then here is the link directly on Michelin site where these are listed as OEM. It also has the SKU number

Has anyone tried the Cup2 or the RE71's on their RCF? If so what are your opinions?

Looking for new rubber for next year and I do plan on getting a few track days in.

Back when I was researching tires, those were two choices I had narrowed down to. I even made a thread for it. Generally, everyone recommended PS4S tires because of their tread life and wet traction. Interestingly, one person went from Cup 2 to PS4S tires and discovered the tread was wider on PS4S compared to the Cup 2 on the same exact size tire.

Cup 2 are a totally different ball game, I have them on the spare set of rims of my Ferrari I wouldn't want to run them on a daily

Especially not one with a chinese battery

As mentioned above, the "OE" PS4S tires for the 2020 RCF come up as SL rated tires for both base and track edition:

Front: 255/35ZR19 (92Y) MSPN: 09133
Rear: 275/35ZR19 (96Y) MSPN: 10071

However, if I look up my 2015 RCF, the first recommended matching set are XL rated PS4S tires:

Front: 255/35ZR19/XL (96Y) MSPN: 66901
Rear: 275/35ZR19/XL (100Y) MSPN: 10078

Odd thing on the Michelin website is that they have four different tires in size 255/35R19, three of which are XL rated, and they have three different 275/35R19 tires, two that are XL rated. They don't really list what the differences are at all. Only thing I could find is that MSPN: 94916 255/35R19 is flagged as a BMW tire.

Discount Tire Direct is only website to list the XL tires, Tire Rack mixes a XL front and SL rear tire. I guess having so many versions of the same tire sizes makes online look ups a challenge.

Yeah, the one I have are 96Y front and 100Y rear. Michelin makes things confusing since they make various spec of tires. Like the RCF, there are OEM-spec versions for BMW and Mercedes. Also, they have different part numbers based on where they were manufactured as these tires are manufactured in various countries.

Used that contact us button on the Lexus website. Finally got an official answer. We were all wrong, lol...

The universal SKU# for the front tires is 66907 and 10071M for the back tires.

Just to follow up because I'm trying to order tires soon. The numbers provided by Lexus above are incorrect, meaning they're not real part numbers that can be ordered.

When I asked for clarification from Lexus, they came back with the same part numbers listed as OE on the Michelin tires website for a 2020 RCF: 09133 front (255/35/R19 SL 92Y) and 10071 rear (275/35/R19 SL 96Y)

I then followed up with Michelin directly, and their recommendation was 66901 front (255/35/R19 XL 96Y) and 10071 rear (275/35/R19 SL 96Y)

I guess the Michelin recommendation is technically the same load rating for front and rear, which also happens to match the current All Seasons (AS3+) that are on the car now.

Signed up for a few HPDE's this spring, just annoying that these elusive customized tires for the RCF don't really seem to exist. Or they're not documented well in both Lexus and Michelin systems. Maybe someone can go physically take a look at a 2020+ and get the load ratings and see if they say "EXTRA LOAD" next to the tire size. I have no idea if part numbers are stamped on tires, but that would be awesome and eliminate all doubt.

I had put the SKU number for the PS4S XL I put on my RCF in this post of my tire thread here:

Discussion: Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 vs XL-Version Pilot Sport 4S - Page 5 - ClubLexus - Lexus Forum Discussion

66901 (fronts) and 10078 (rears)

Highly recommend these ones. They are 96Y front and 100Y rear. XL all-around.

Not sure how they compare with the RCF-Spec PS4S, but they are light years better than the OEM MPSS SL we had. I got XL to get the car to use less sidewalls and it worked out quite well. Going over speed bumps, when I land on other side, the suspension comes down and stands solid and firm. There is no dive/pitch at all when it lands. These "micro-oscillations" really annoyed me with the OEM MPSS SL had. The tires are very firm, but not uncomfortable at all.

The biggest place where I appreciate it is, under hard-turning, a mid-corner bump or a dip would upset the car on OEM tire very easily, the steering would go light as it stopped giving me the traction info on the front tires and the front end would "wander/float" for a couple of split seconds. None of that happens anymore just with a simple switch to these tires. Now, going through a hard bump or a dip mid-corner, the car really stomps over it with authority. Not float or vagueness at all. The steering maintains the very tight ratio with the tires and no wandering of the front end at all. It was annoying as hell because in a hard-turn, it would really mess up your confidence. The sidewalls really avoid deformation under high G-load especially when suddenly weight balance being shifts.

Thanks, I had skimmed over that thread previously but must have totally missed where you went over the RCF spec versions also. Of course now the XL rated rear tires don't appear to be in stock at the normal online vendors (tire rack is showing May for expected availability). Might end up being stuck with the 10071 SL rears anyway since my current tires are getting pretty close to the wear bar indicators.

That sucks. Even when I ordered them last year in March, COVID had caused many Michelin plants to shut down. These were backed up and I ended up waiting till April when they finally arrived. These tires really woke up the car and the OEM PSS SL tires looked totally mismatched once they got past 7/10ths to the chassis/suspension after experiencing these.

I had this problem in fall. My rear tires were shot and the car was getting loose in hard corners. I ended up getting Continental Extreme Contact Sports in the XL rating and I really cant tell the difference between them and the PS4S XL's I replaced. The Continental's might be a little louder and feel slightly firmer.

Im thinking about the Continental Extreme Spirts as well. I have them on my wife’s ILX and they are great and grippy.

The Firestone Firehawk Indy 500 has been a popular choice for PS4S alternatives.
