It is time to replace all 4 of my tires.
I understand there is now a custom spec of the Pilot Sport 4S tires for our car, but how do I order them properly?
Does anyone know the exact order or tire spec code for these tires?
Following this post. But what size tires will.it be limited too?
I think it will only be in the RCF OEM size since they are designed specifically for the RCF. My guess is, the load rating is higher on these MPS4S tires making the sidewalls more resistant to deformation under high cornering forces.
Do not know the significance; but, from michelinman.com 255/35R19 MSPN 09133 92Y MSPN 66901 96Y. 275/35R19 MSPN10071 96Y MSPN10078 100Y
The 2020 Lexus RCF has newly RCF-Spec developed MPS4S tires, which are not yet available (not the old MPSS tires our RCFs came with). They are too new for them to appear on the Michelin site.
Why do you say "too new" Rolla? How do they differ from all the regular 4S models? Matter of fact, there's a huge Thread on this going on the RCF Facebook page too. Looks like they do not make them in the size I'll be needing when new wheels arrive.
Oddly they don't make a 285/30/19..

** If one was not able to use MPS4S Tires, then which other Brand would you use?
Hi Gunny,
Yes, they are different from the standard MPS4S tires that are available on the market. Lexus got Michelin to design a specific RCF version of the MPS4S tires so there are some subtle differences. I also read Lexus telling one of the reviewers that the sidewalls are even stiffer than the standard MPS4S tires.
Speaking of corners, all 2020 RC F models wear specially-designed Michelin Pilot Sport 4 S tires measuring 255/35R19 up front and 275/35R19 in the rear. Compared to standard PS4S tires, the RC F's rubber has special grooves, a revised shoulder profile, extended bead, and trapezoidal shape. We noticed a tremendous amount of grip on track but wondered if the car would be even quicker with Pilot Sport Cup 2s.
I thought that the higher load rated 4S model listed on Michelin's webpage was the new RCF tire. The quoted article suggest there is more difference than just load rating.
I think I will try the Cups as I have found the performance improvement of the 4S over the PSS is not worth the much lower life I experienced with the 4S.
Apparently, for the RCF there are already two versions in the OEM size. One is XL rated with the reinforced sidewalls while the other is non-XL rated. The higher load rating one's are XL rated. Probably, the 2020 RCF spec MPS4S tires will be another version?
