Why in the world would anyone ever say something like that to someone? Not to mention a fellow Forum Member. "If you cant afford the maintenance get rid of the car"

Seriously, you may easily be able to drop mad amounts of money on Engine Bay Mods (Is nice though) and start stacking up for tons more to come, but I dont think I've seen a more conceited post toward another member here.
Rather than shame the guy, perhaps try offering some helpful advice for his issue, or was the "lol" a "just kidding" approach? Absolutely ridiculous statement to make! (LOL)

I second the alternate tire maker recommendations... shopping the General GMax RS for example (which is reviewing very outstanding) comes in at around $640ish for the oem sizes. Figure about $800 shipped, mounted&balanced. Not bad at all for performance cars in this category.
Definitely repair costs, insurance, maintenance all play a huge part in the price of a car... I was cross shopping 2007-2009 DB9 prior to deciding on the F. The large differing costs of ownership comparing these two cars with similar purchase prices was a major deciding factor... and performance, looks preference, and ride are pretty darn close for me.

Their ain't no debate forum, this is called "Lexus Forum Discussion". We need to inform, or make known to any person out there new to this forum, he, (or she), realizes the RCF has normal performance car costs.
