Look so similar, but the differences are significant for most versions above, especially the jump to 996. Cool sketches!

Yes, but the Pano's shape is a bit forced or contrived when compared to 911.

The 911's shape is functional and originally dictated by the rear engine configuration. Of course the tear drop rear end shape is less than ideal in the wind tunnel, therefore electric rear spoiler is standard equipment.
