Creaking/ thumping sound from sunroof

Creaking/ thumping sound from sunroof
Has anyone experienced a creaking/thumping sound coming from their sunroof? It mainly happens if I go over a bump while turning or need to go up a steep incline at an angle.

Thanks. Wanted to make sure I wasn’t the only one. It happens with the sunroof closed. I’m thinking it might be triggered by the rough NYC roads and being lowered on Swift springs. I’m hoping the dealer doesn’t blame it on that when I take it in.

It's chassis flex. They'll blame it on anything but the car.
More than likely they will take some dry silicone, spray all the seals, and ensure all the fasteners are properly tightened. There's not much else you can do, and often this fixes the issue unless there is a bad spot weld somewhere.

yes I had the creaking and thumping on my RC-F since I bought it, after 2 years I finally got tired of it and complained to the SA when I went in for my 15K service.. My entire sunroof unit was replaced under warranty, the rails, motor, track, everything..
the tech discovered along with the thump and creak, that my roof also did not open fully, when measured and compared to other RCs and RC-Fs on the lot, it was a full 2 inch difference in the opening size.
I posted about it awhile back, while the idea of having basically the whole interior and the rear windshield removed as to replace the unit bothered me and caused a but of stress, the dealership did an excellent job, no damaged panels or paint, no new rattles or noises, and with the sunroof opening completely the odd buffeting sound I used to have is gone.
When I posted about it, 4 other RC-F owners PM'd me that they had similar issues with their 2015, I know 2 of those 4 also had their whole unit replaced.
