I put my name on the list for the LC-F. I'm told it'll be in the $180,000 range.

It would be awesome if they actually got it to 500hp.

Also, any significant bump in horsepower for the RCF will likely land it's sticker price super close to the LC500's tag....not sure how well either car would do with them competing with each other. I just still don't fully see of the point of Lexus having 2 'flagship' luxury coupes....

V, my friend, the LC500 line and the soon to be LC-F are in a completly different segment than the RC-F. Very few people that are shopping the RC-F segment will cross shop with a 6 figure coupe. Don’t get me wrong, the LC-F will be absolutely amazing in every way, as it should be. It will trump the RC-F in Performance and luxury, as it should since it’ll be a tier above the RC line. With this being said, any update to the RC should be welcomed, whether it’s just an infortainment upgrade, exterior refresh or limited or special edition models in conjunction with the regularly refreshed RC-F. The RC-F is a complete different car than the LC500, a horsepower upgrade may raise the MSRP of the RC-F but you can’t even compare the two. Look closer at the specs of each car and you’ll see the philosophy between both cars and what they are meant for.

To be fair the twin turbo 4.0 has not been confirmed for the GSF or any car for that matter. There are rumors the GSF line may be discontinued, maybe renamed or merged into a different line/segment. Furthermore, the RCF will have a lower horsepower rating/torque rating if it gets the same 4.0 turbo as the GSF. This will help distinguish the segments more and put the GSF in a slightly higher bracket with the E63s from Benz and M5 from bmw. The RCF will keep in the m4, ATS-V, RS5, C63 segment. Or Lexus could go the route Benz did and do a regular RCF AND an uprated version like an RCF+ or something such as the c63 to c63s. We will be finding out very soon but don’t count on a whole new engine in the RCF or GSF. LS-F yes, LC-F for sure. Check out my thread titled “what’s new for 2018 RCF?”. I have a lot of info on there regarding the rumors around the RCF, even some word from a Lexus Western Area employee. Expect more of a slight refresh within the RCF line rather than any drastic performance gains.

I was told $140k range.
If it's $180k, it better be more than the supposed 600hp. Otherwise you're better off buying an RCF or GSF and supercharging them and getting the same power and still have a nice, new vehicle with an excellent interior.
But I can't see a 100hp bump, hood scoops/aerodynamic parts, and a lower stance (and maybe carbon ceramic brakes) jumping $80k over the standard LC500....
But anyway, not sure how much of a bump they can up on the RCF with without stepping on the toes of the LC500.
