Default Common issues with the RCF

Hey guys, I wanted to make a thread where we could all list our issues with the car, now that we all have had some time with it. I have a '16 RCF with Circuit red interior with 10k miles. My only issues are that my car seems to have trouble finding gears when in sport and sport+ even with the Apexi Controller, leather (not nuluxe) is wrinkling around my shoulders and thigh area, front parking sensors are basically useless compared to my '13 GS, and my illuminated door sills both light up even when one door is open. Anyone else experiencing any issues care to chime in?

You need to clean the leather with only distill water. I have ceramic coating on the leather seats and just clean the leather with water. You do not want to use any type of chemicals on soft leather or it will break it down faster. I have 6 k miles on my car without any leather issues. From day 1, I ceramic coated the leather.

I have a 2015 with 21k miles. I'm curious as to what you mean by issues, actual warranty items or just quirks. Some quirks I have are the way the head unit sorts music files. Not a huge deal, I just wished it read it like my TV, DVD or amp. It pretty much scrambles my folders and I don't think it reads into subfolders. The other quirk is voice command is useless to me. I have tried training the guide, but it just doesn't work that well. Again, not a big issue. I just use SIRI hands free to find things and find addresses.

What i meant by issues is just anything that bothers you about the car that you don't/didn't expect to happen or think should be happening. I've never tried SIRI hands free. I wanna try it out since I wanna make it a habit to touch my phone less while i'm driving.

'16 with 2.2K miles. Slight creasing in the left shoulder area on the seat otherwise no other issues. A friend with a newly-bought '17 model with 300 miles also had this problem. He ended up getting a new seat at no charge.

Damn! He got a whole new seat? I've read that people with issues with premature wearing have been getting leather/nuluxe pieces ordered then stitched in.

Don't know what the complaint is on creasing leather. Leather will crease, does not matter if it is new or not, it will not hold up forever. My sister has 600 miles on her gls suv and has creases on the side bolster.

He picked up his car in August. His had quite a bit of creasing and in more than one area. He got approved for the new seat through Lexus Corporate. Got lucky.
