Whats it worth?
Looking to trade in my 2017 RCF with 5500 miles and mint condition. Silver exterior and black inside. Loaded with sunroof instead of carbon roof. What should I expect to get in on a trade in. Not buying another car but just want to sell this. Thanks in advance.
you're going to take a hit.
Relatively high mileage on a '17 is going to make it tougher too.
My guess is high 50's to low 60's.
Manheim Auction has 2015-2017 RC-F for $43K - $58K mileage from 5,400 to 34,000
places like CarMax will offer you low Blue Book, or low blue book minus a resell prep fee (usually $1,500 to $2,500). I have a 2015 and was offered $44K by Carmax a few months ago, while they had 3 2015 RCF's in their inventory priced between $53K and $64K, so I told them to pound sand.
you will take a loss unless you sell private party, you won't see the resell level out until your car is around 36-40 months old.

as long as you don't mind the ongoing overheating and electrical issues, power steering failures, and motor detonation problems, a Corvette is the way to go I guess. Though it appears some of the overheating and motor failure issues from 2014-2016 models "might have" been corrected for the 2017 models, I wouldn't hold my breath.. I was a long time GM fan, having owned 9 of them since the 1990s, but having my last 2 Chevy's (a 2010 and a 2012) bought back under Lemon Law, I have swore them off.. While it is true all manufacturers have issues and lemons, having the replacement for your lemon buy back also me a lemon buy back doesn't speak highly of GM's Quality Control.

Vet is not on my shopping list. But price wise, it is good time to buy as they are not selling as well. I assume you are gonna see some really huge discount by the end of the year if they are still not selling well.
I just got my GM bonus points mail circular on Monday, as I have a GM MasterCard and earn point toward a down payment.. Normally for 4th of July sales they "top off" my points, i.e. put me to the max I can earn, for the July sales, but this time they maxed me times 3, so if I was to go purchase a GM product, instead of being maxed @ a $2,500 credit toward the down payment, I have $7,500 on top of whatever the current promo's are. For example, the current promo on the Silverado is $8,200 off MSRP, with my GM points that gives me $15,700 off a $48,315 truck.
Wow!!! That's some DISCOUNTS!!! The already discounted MC plus additional negotiations after arriving at the dealership? Seems to me they are trying to give them away hoping someone would just take it home and come back again and again and again and again for REPAIRS (initially under warranty and then when warranty runs out out of pocket OR they'll RESET the clock by GIVING AWAY ANOTHER NEW one to you!!!).
I just don't want to be bothered with vehicle problems, warranty or not. I just want my car to fire up when I fly into the airport where my car is parked and get in and get out in a jiffy.

oh that is classic GM, you always see the trucks with $8,000 - $12,000 off MSRP during "Truck Month" my opinion has always been, if they can knock $12K off the MSRP for a special sale, then the vehicle isn't worth that extra $12K in the first place.
