Resonator delete...what of the secondary cat delete too?
So I was quoted by two local exhaust shops $200 to cut out/delete the resonator and weld in pipes, but that didnt include Stainless exhaust 2.5" pipes. It would be non stainless metal. If I want stainless I have to source it myself.

second question. Does the RCF have a pair of secondary cars/converters just passed the o2 sensors in the mid pipe?
why arent we deleting that 2nd cat as well?
leaving only the primary cats located pre midpipe connection?

I'm on the fence about deleting the resonators also.
Does anyone know if the OEM pipes are stainless steel?
Where can I buy a stainless "bolt on pipe" to replace the resonators so that I can EASILY reverse it when I need to?

The last shop I was at said the stockpipe is stainless.
to go bolt on you would need to replace the entire midpipe.
that would delete the secondary cat, o2 sensors and the resonator.

Here is a undershot of my car with the stock pipes when it was having the Meisterschaft installed. If the exhaust is stainless steel then it's most likely 409 series. (I can't find any hard specs on it).
Here is the 304 stainless steel Meisterschaft exhaust:
It still looks the same as the day it was installed.
I know that the Meisterschaft is 304 stainless steel, which is very corrosion resistant. But from what I gather a lot of stock exhausts which use stainless steel choose to use 409 stainless steel (it's not as corrosion resistant). If I did source my own stainless steel pipes I would pick up 409 stainless pipes to match the stock grade (it likely is 409 if it's stainless).
The only cost effective way to do a bolt on resonator replacement is to replace the entire midpipe.
But you can keep your resonators after they are cut out and have them welded back in later just like they welded in the pipe to replace the resonators when they cut them out.

I've never had an exhaust that felt as solidly built as this one. I'm a firm believer in getting what you pay for (most of the time). I have no regrets for what I paid for it. I've never thought for a second that I should have gotten a cheaper one.

Still torn between Borla cat back and just a resonator delete. With the delete the Exhaust tips looks original yet louder and that is what I am leaning towards. Any suggestions?.

im right there too. If I can get the delete cost to under $150 ill do that first and then see if I need to progress to a borla later.
