Default Audio Level Via Bluetooth Seems Low?

I have the standard audio system in my RC-F and it seems that, for whatever reason, the audio level from my iPhone via Bluetooth is down. I can turn it up to 62 (max) and the sound is not overly loud and I know it used to be higher riding no more than a 50 setting when it was bordering on too loud for me. The alert tones from the phone, etc. and the radio volume seem as loud as ever. I don't have any sort of gain or volume levelling on the iPhone or iTunes as far as I can determine.

Although I can't find it, is there a "per source" level setting in the audio package that I may have accidentally set incorrectly too low? Any other suggestions?

Thanks much!

sometimes I have to adjust the volume back up manually on my phone and it will give me a message about dangerous levels, blah, blah. Once I turn the volume up on the phone it allows higher volume through the speakers. It may be that simple for you as well, hth

Make sure the volume on your phone is turned up all the way before adjusting the volume in the car.

I feel like it actually sounds better through bluetooth than through the cable. I have the ML system though.

I listen to my music at about 36-40 in volume and the BT still sounds better and more crisp. I listen to mostly hip-hop and EDM, I don't know if that makes a difference.

FWIW they both sound like crap, the best option is the 3.5mm headphone jack, however you lose the ability to control the phone through the car.

I use Bluetooth because I got tired of dealing with the unit and it's inability to allow Bluetooth and USB simultaneously. The Lexus Enform app will not work over wired connection, it is just easier to have the phone connected to the power port for charging and use the Bluetooth for music.

When you have the USB connected on an iphone and are trying to use Lexus enform, just swipe up from the bottom of the screen and where it says airplay choose BT instead of the USB. I use this all the time.

USB sounds good to me...I don't use Enform app or stream music via the interwebs, just play what I have downloaded on my phone from iTunes.

I will have to play with it more, though.
