Yeah, parking blocks will be an issue. I look like an idiot undershooting, then getting out of the car and driving it closer. One way around this to back into the spot 😊
Haha - I used to do the exact same thing. Fortunately my current car has surround view cameras (front, rear and sides) so I don’t have that problem anymore!!!

What is the actual speed rating for a high quality space such as H&R?
I'm kind of confused on what to do. I wanted to upgrade to a 20" wheel for better performance but doing some research it seems that the 19" wheel would be better, and the 20" would actually hinder performance.
I am planning on buying some BC racing coilovers to lower my RCF and finding a wheel in 19" that I like Isnt looking too good. I like the look of the stock 20 spoke wheel and would just rather get that powder coated in a black, hence installing the spacers.
my only worry is that if I use a spacer that it may fail or damage the vehicle. What do you guys think?
I dont think I ever actually plan on tracking the car, but I want to have the set up done in case I ever do, or maybe just have some fun on the streets with some spirited driving.
Yeah, 19 inch would be better for ultimate performance/handling over 20 inches. As for spacers, if you go with either Eibach or H&R (same spacers with two different brand names), they would not fail as I researched it thoroughly before putting them on my car. I have taken my car up to 130 mph and zero issues. Never seen an Eibach or H&R fail.

I would definitely stick with 19" wheels. H&R spacers are super great quality. No issue with mine. Just check and re-torque wheels after 1st month or 500 miles after installation to ensure spacers are still sitting well and then check every couple of months.
In my one year with H&R spacers, torque specs have stayed pretty much constant even with very aggressive driving with a lot of tossing the car around corners.
I located H&R bolt on 15mm adapters that fit our specs. Part #3065602, shipped from Germany. Decided to go 15mm all around to be conservative and to maintain the same ?track as stock given it's wider out back than front and not squaring it out. Also didn't want to pick up too much gravel on to the body. Was concerned stock studs would be too long for clearance with wheel given the thinner spacer, but CorradoMR2 put 11mm out back without problems.

Like folks have said 20mm in front would be flush,but my reasons are above.
im lowered on swift and 15mm out back is perfect.

Did you have to cut the stock studs, or was there enough clearance behind the OEM wheels after the 15mm spacer?
My Eibachs had studs on the spacers. I did not get the ones where you have to replace your stock studs. The OEM studs go in the spacer (and bolts go on the outside) and then the wheel goes on the Eibach spacers. Yes, there were cut outs on the back of the OEM wheels as the stock studs protrude a bit and fit nicely in the cut outs.
Thanks, makes sense. Yes, I do recall now there are notches on the OEM wheels that allow the OEM studs to still sit in well without interference even with a 15mm spacer.
Got them to use with OEM wheels but not sure if I want to use them now...haha...my AVS F50 20x11 rears are pretty close to fender liner...might still be okay, though.
Do you guys think the following set up would work without spacers? I'm assuming they would, since the stock offset is 19x9 +50 and 19×10 +41.
new set up: 19×9 +35 front, 19x10 +25 rear.*
the reason I'm assuming these would work is because theres almost a 10mm difference on stock height, so lowered they should sit nearly flush, running stock tires. Can anybody chime on on this?*
I’ve never used spacers before, but finances don’t allow for new wheels this year... I’ve read this whole thread twice and I’m concerned/confused about what spacers are safest. I daily my RCF, zero track use but lots of 130mph sprints on long stretches of empty road. I get that H&R or Eibach are recommended but neither company has an official fitment for the RCF. Also replacing studs seem logical but adds considerable work/expense.
