I was wondering if you might able to assist me in determining if I'm getting good deal here.
The car of interest is a black carbon fiber edition.
The options are as follows:
All weather package
19-in wheel package
Leather package
Performance Package
Pre-Collision System with Dynamic Radar Cruise Control
Navigation System Package with Mark Levinson (r) 17-Speaker 835-watt Premium Surround Audio System
Premium Package
The car has been sitting on the lot for ~4 weeks, and the car is normally $79,145, and they are offering it to me for $75,645.
Based on those of you who have already bought similar models, is this a good buy or should I try to fight for more off? I am a 2 time previous customer of theirs in the last calendar year as well.
I bought my car at sticker price, when it first came out. It is a very comfortable GT cruiser! With the RC F you are looking at, the package is fully loaded, so you won't regret it, but if you looking to do some serious FI mods to the car, forget about it!
To be honest, I'm not interested in FI mods for this car. If I'd get one, it would be bolt ons and done. Then begin to spend stupid amounts of money on carbon fiber, suspension, and wheels lol.
I know Doug & a few others on here would be more knowledgeable on this, but that seems to be a pretty good price for it to be completely loaded. I'm not sure how much more room they would have to play with but i wouldn't think it would be Much, GL & let us know how it turns out.
I have the same package paid $75k 2 months ago so I would suggest you go lower offer $70-$72 you have nothing to lose... especially if you have purchased before the sales manager may scream claim their kids will stave etc and you may have to drive away (as I did) but they need the sale!! also don't be afraid to order from another state and negotiate delivery

Apparently he needs to ask Ca1avera what dealership he got his from since they came off 8k!
I agree 8k off would not happen around here the best I found was 5500 off my 79,800 car a month ago. Which I felt was a good price but a good friend who is a high line dealer just bought one at Manheim with 120 miles on it for a steel of a deal! Hope they do not take a huge hit but I love the car so I guess resale is not important at this moment.

Did his have to Full Package, TVD & All? If so, that's a hell of a deal!
Yes, it has TVD and carbon I think msrp 79,300 and he is asking 73,900!
Well, i Guess that's How he makes his Livin'! That was Definitely a Steal though. Somebody can Still get a Really Good Deal on it too! Where is he selling it at?
The dealership has already stated the "this is the lowest we can go. This is pennies above invoice". Blah blah blah blah.
So, I feel that's the lowest they are going to go. The other issue is the car is Obsidian (when I would ideally want molten pearl) and thus I'm not entirely sold on that car unless the price was something to blow me away. On the other hand, I have a Nissan dealer in another state that I'm working with on a used Black Edition GT-R. Both will come out about 4k different between the 2 based on what Lexus has offered.
Brand new RCF(TVD and Carbon) for $73,900?!?!? Damn, you can't find anywhere in So.Cal
He paid 68 but had to add all the Manheim fees plus enclosed shipping from south FL to MS. So, he would have 71 in car once it's detailed and ready to market and I am sure he would negotiate off the 73,900.
