Midpipe Only Setup
Hello Everyone,
I recently ordered the Apexi non-resonated catback system, but I'm not planning on running the axle-back portion. I will be selling the axle-back as soon as I receive it(dont like the dual fart can look). Is anyone else currently running a midpipe only setup? How much louder than stock is it? Did you notice any gains on the butt dyno?
Also, before anyone asks, you cannot buy the midpipe alone nor will it be available any time soon. I went with Apexi because it is an H-pipe design and I plan on mating another axle back to it later when more options are available.

If you are planning to run a straight pipe, it is probably going to be crazy loud, I think you may lose a bit of low end torque. Gearbangin's 08 IS F was running with PPE headers, Borla mid pipe with resonator and RRRacing Bazooka straight pipe, and that was ear rattling loud at WOT!
