RC-F in Top Gear [22x06] March 1st
Richard Hammond is air-lifted onto a mountain in the wilderness of Canada with a watch that he can send a distress signal from. Unfortunately for Hammond, in his case, the signal is to be received and acted upon by none other than Clarkson and May. Reluctantly, the pair set off on an epic quest to rescue their colleague using two pickup trucks: a Hennessy Velociraptor and a Chevrolet Silverado.
Clarkson hits the test track, for the first time this season, in the all-new Lexus RC F coupe. Gillian Anderson will be the seventh celebrity in series twenty-two to take to the Top Gear test track in the reasonably priced car.

After 2 years, Clarkson claims he relented for a Sunday Times review and decided to finally drive one and rest as they say was history. He still calls it his most favorite car.

What I really want to see, is The Stig's lap with the RC-F. Let's see how it stacks up against the other cars. Does not look like the M4 was ever lapped by The Stig, but RS5 did a 1:27 on a slightly damp track.
The track layout was changed a couple of years ago so the lap times now are quicker than the old one. But, still it will give some idea of how it compares with the IS-F 1:26.9.

Clarkson recently drove it on the Britain roads and he complained about the weight. Hopefully, once he drives on the track, he will truly able to see the supreme balance that the M4 cannot simply match.

Either Clarkson was not being entirely objective regarding how much quicker it is than the E90 M3 or the was factoring in the quicker lap time averages into his 4 seconds/lap calculation and/or the new Stig is quicker in his laps than Ben Collins.
Around Laguna Seca, with Randy Pobst, the BMW M4 was 3 seconds per lap quicker than the older E92 M3 both with M-DCT (1:40 vs 1:43). It is a much faster and more technical track than Dunsford Autodrome (Top Gear track).

I don't remember anything about it, either.
That looks like the same track that they're still running now. And the same one that was on Forza 4 and GT5 a few years ago, as well...

The addition of concrete to corner apexes has gotten rid of dirt on the track which then gives more mid-corner grip and the ability to get on the power earlier.

It doesn't matter what the lap times are. One can always say it was a different day/conditions/driver/etc. So I'm not sure why you are worried what time the M3 had.
