When you start your car don't select any option on the infotainment system (don't touch the touch pad). Let the warning message disappear on its own. I had the same issue on my GS. I guess Lexus still didn't fix the issue.
I would suggest making a video of this error occuring, so that way you can show your service advisor and tech that will eventually look at the car. It will possibly aid them, and at least they will believe you and document the error occuring in case it can't be replicated when you have it dropped off.
This would suck for a new car. Take it to dealer and have them fix it.
Sucks on any car. All Lexus have the bug if you happen to do the wrong things in the right order. My '06 IS has it as well. If you happen to touch the screen at the exact time you put ir in Reverse. The screen and surrounding buttons become disabled until you shutdown.
"Doctor it hurts when I do this... then don't do this."
Im hating the fact that so much tech is entering the automobiles. The car mechanically could be bullet proof, but the infotainment touch screen could be filled with bugs. Ive had lots of issues with my isf touch screen. What software are these car dealers using....android.

Any car pumped up with tech will reveal a glitch. Reset, rock, and roll.
