I cannot speak to the sound as to how it will sound, but definitely will sound good. You should notice a very significant difference as the full exhaust gives around +18 whp and the headers around +25 whp so a total of +43 whp from headers and exhaust. I have had AFE Intake for 5+ years and it is OK. Adds some intake growl and some midrange torque. Not the biggest fan. I have the AEM cold air intake sitting and I will be swapping for that soon and will report on how the change is to AEM. One good thing is, I really like the blue elbow of the AFE intake and will probably keep it when I swap to AEM.

Power sound and everything 100% worth it. Changes the car completely. Thats a popular setup.

Catted headers don’t make nearly the power that uncatted make. I’d do the ones without them.

Default Headers

Catless PPE headers w/ RR Racing Bazooka 2, Hiflow Gesi-sport cats in midpipe. Sounds awesome , a little louder when closed, nice n loud when u you get on it or when it's open.

I have PPE EL + PPE Catted X pipe. I switched from fully catless because I didn't like the smell, to be honest my butt dyno did not feel a loss in power. I think it's better to get catless header and catted xpipe since the whole point of long tube header is to utilize the cat deleted space to fit the long tubes.

Exactly. Put the cats in the midpipe, not the collector. That is the absolute worse place for cats (the collector).

Yea. I went PPE EL ceramic coated and Apexi exhaust, which has a rare "H pipe" these days. I went with Apexi resonated version vs non-resonated for a few reasons:
1) hwy droning sucks. I've had it in other cars and I definitely did not want to chance it.
2), overall loudness, total DB was only 3 DB louder without resonators 98 DB without / 95 DB with
3) it was around 100 bucks more tor the resonated version and I figured if I want to remove them, I can, but if you purchase the non resonated version and you decide for any reasons you want to add them, it was like 350 or 400 bucks for those two resonators buying them separate, then you need to cut out some of your exhaust pipe and have them welded in. So it just made sense to go resonated. D

I ordered both Apexi cat back exhaust and the PPE headers at the same time in April. The Apexi cat back exhaust was delivered 3 days later from California to Minnesota. The PPE headers delivery was quoted July 2nd, and they were at my door on July 1 or 2. I had originally planned on having them both installed at the same time but my buddy whose shop I had planned to have do the work told me "Sorry. Headers I don't install. It's come back to bite me too many times. Some headers are notorious for leaks and to fix those leaks your basically doing the install a 2nd time and I don't want to lose my ***. So when he gave me that bad news I knew that meant I'd be doing the install on my garage floor, but I'm out of town for work more days each week then I am home and being Minnesota summrs are short, and figuring it could take me a month to get the install complete, I made the decision to install the cat back Apexi Exhaust as it was simple, 2 hrs, drive my car while I can, work on it when I can't over the winter. So I drove one session with the Apexi Exhaust and while the Japanese exhaust is gourgous, completely polished with TIG welds that belong in a museum, and I was happy with the exhaust "note" I was hoping it would've been a little bit louder. I didn't notice any difference in "seat of your pants" power. So come that winter, I installed the PPE EL ceramic coated headers. It was February when I finished and i was curious as to what sound differences there might be. Well when turned that key, let's just say a wore a smile for months and because this car sees only 3K to 5k max per year, meaning I don't drive it alot, everytime I know I'm going to I get excited for start up and driving it. Inside my garage, when I cold start the car, it's loud as hell and sounds bad ***. I'm so happy I didn't do anything stupid and remove the resonators trying to gain a bit more volume. It sounds great. The power difference, seat of your pants is definitely noticeable. The first time I drove it, I laughed my *** off. I took a road I ways drive coming out to a light at a highway. Light turned for me to make a left and I just tapped the gas pedal midway through the turn and the back broke loose end came swinging around. I never had that before. These headers are not inexpensive but I'd buy them again tomorrow without hesitation. They truly wake the car up and it's a blast to drive.

My neighbors probably don't care for it as it shakes the house and the all the neighbors dogs start barking. I don't care. It's a buche neighborhood and I'm this loud blue coller Italian guy from New Jersey so living in the Midwest. Our family stands out out here. My daughter's are tan and have dark hair. Everyone kids out here have blond hair, Scandinavian. My wife is loud Italian and always breaking my *****. My neighbor John next door he's always saying things like "your wife rides your ***" and I always respond with the prerequisite "ah fogetitboutit".

Yeah, I am going to do a detailed write-up on it once I have it installed. My frustration was, everyone had very positive opinions about it, but no one made a video that shows how it sounds etc. I will try and make something on it.
