Fully Body Paint Help
I've started looking into getting a fully body paint to an awesome Lexus paint code I came across: 9K2 (Moss Green, from the second year of the LFA). Does anybody have experience trying to get a factory paint job done through a dealer to one of their colors?
Is it even possible, or do I need to find a shop that will do it? Would a dealer deny that color because it was never used on a RC F? If I need to find a shop, any recommendations in California or west of the rockies? Happy to make a road trip for a place that gets factory quality.
My '24 is in Caviar, but I'd love to have something unique!

I believe I've seen other owners use another Lexus paint color code on another model.
Oh yes, I have -- now I remember -- they painted their SC USB / USB 2.0 or Structural Blue -- can't remember exactly but I've seen pictures.
I don't think there's any rule saying you can't paint YOUR car another Lexus certified color.
Find your nearest Lexus Certified Collision Center, call them and ask for a quote to paint your car.

OR -- Call your local dealership service dept and ask who they go through for paint jobs.

Most dealerships sub out collision work. Find a reputable body shop and go from there.
Dealerships can get you a list of Lexus certified, and your insurance can give you a list of shops also. Those are really just starting points if you don't already have a shop in mind.
They will use whatever paint code you give them.
