I bought a 2015 RCF about 2 months ago. The telescoping steering wheel was set to retract and raise out of the way when entering or exiting the vehicle. After watching a few youtube videos I was able to install the Tech Stream software(with some help) and bought a connection cable and turned off this setting.
I am just curious how many of you have used Tech Stream and what are some other options commonly changed. I have been a little nervous about just clicking on different settings until I get more familiar with how to use the software.
I came across a 1K service document when I got my car that lists "dealer" only settings that can be changed with TechStream (or even a dongle using the Carista app on a phone).
You can try to search for that to give you some ideas. I think it's mostly stuff like how many blinks when you bump the turn signal, or the blinker volume level. There's also some other handy ones like enabling rolling down the windows with the key fob, or if all doors unlock (or just driver's) on the first click.
Changing random settings to see what they do is half the fun though.
I used it to disable the seat going back and forth when turning the vehicle on. Also disabled the fasten seatbelt chime for the driver and increased the blinker volume.
Didn't use techstream for this, but changed the one touch turn signal from 3 flashes to 5. You can select 3, 5, or 7 flashes, there's a series of button presses you do with the wiper stalk to edit the setting.
