What does the button that looks like a windshield and wiper do? Thanks in advance.

Windshield wiper de-icer, when activated will shut off after a period of time.

 

I believe it shuts off after a few minutes. If you will look at the bottom of the front windshield, you will see the strips. They're
the same material as the ones on the rear window. They power off after a few minutes as well.

I think that's a part of the Winter Package, or some extra pack with a name like that. I have it on my car, but since it's in a garage all time time, I don't think I've used it. This heated strip frees up the wipers when they get frozen to the windshield in a winter storm. I have a vague recollection that the winter package also includes something that warms up the fluid that sprays onto the windshield when you push the button on the stalk for that. I'm too old and tired and stupid to look up what's in the "winter package," but since you have it, you might find something interesting there that you can use.
