Gimmicks
Is it just me, or is cpo service just a sales gimmick? I mean, part of the package is a courtesy vehicle while your car is in for service, they never have a vehicle available. I would be willing to bet there never is a vehicle available to use, just a sales pitch
Did you made an appointment before coming in?
No loaner for me with CPO service. Dealer advised unless its a major service loaner cars are not provided. I've done the 45k and 50k and had to arrange for transportation. However, I did not purchase the CPO RC from them but instead at another Lexus dealer two hours away.

One thing I've learned over the years, if you don't trust (somewhat anyway) the guys (or gals) working on your car, find another one.
I have an extended warranty on my '15 and a loaner is provided (part of the warranty) every time. The CPO deal is priced into the car
just as my extended warranty was. If they don't provide what the agreement reads, screw 'em, find another dealer.

Sounds like a dealer issue to me, mine would tell me when scheduling that there were certain days they had limited loaners and gave me the option of being there at open or rescheduling. The potential cost of repair along with the longer warranty range was the factor for me. Although it seems they just about never break if you had something like a transmission issue the added CPO cost would outweigh an out of warranty repair easily.

One thing I forgot about, being loaners are limited due to shortage of cars in general. But still, a good
warranty is hard to beat along with the option of a CPO care. Repairs can be life changing if it's a big one.
I hope and think that mine was a waste of money being Lexus is so damn reliable, but never can tell.
I've owned 4 Lexus vehicles over the years, they're about as bulletproof as a car can be, in my past.
My '15 RC has been just a work horse. Like it's still new. Great car.
