RAND:
I can't figure out what "and its noice" means (doesn't anybody porffread their post anymore?), but for a diffusion of running lights, I would suggest not doing anything permanent, as subsequent owners may not be enthused about it and this might be a re-sale problem.
I would suggest visiting a detail shop that tints windows, and ask them about applying a film over the lights. There are many films to choose from, and I suspect some are not tinted but clear and diffuse; or maybe a light tint may do what you want (make your car harder for oncoming traffic to see), and the color could compliment the car, depending. These tints are readily removable at any time.

It's an alternate way of saying something is "nice" but typically delivered with a little more emphasis. It was then parodied in a Key & Peele sketch where two guys try to "out-Noice" each other with increasingly enthusiastic declarations of the term. BTW I certainly hope your misspelling of proofread in your little rant there was done for comedic effect.

To answer the OP's actual question, the diffusion of lights like this is a complex process and requires a specific solution. In order to pull this off you have you both dim the area directly in front of the LED while evenly applying a gradient to the diffusion until you get to the center of the gap between the two led's. Done properly it looks like the new headlights, done poorly and you'll still have hot spots, lower light output, and be right back where you started. You'd also want to apply this diffusion to the inside of the lens if at all possible.

So now I know about noice, and realize that what Rand should have written was "it's noice," not "its noice."
I used to be a lighting designer for the theater and ballet, so I've diffused lots of hot lights, and completely agree with your suggested method to achieve the best result in diffusing these running lights; I do not think, however, that the OP had anything so detailed or sophisticated in mind.
The quick fix is to get a spray can of glass spray that's often used on bathroom windows, but that's not something you should do to a Lexus.

I don't think he did either, I was trying to provide some clarity as to what it takes to accomplish what he wants as opposed the reality of the results he is likely to get with a minimal effort attempt.

Here's a great article that I read about 7 years ago on Dodge getting the consistent diffused lighting effect in their taillights and the work that went into pulling it off.

JON: Thanks for the clarification. Now we know it's either "NOOICE" or "NO DICE," (which actually makes more sense).
What, again, was the problem with "nice"?

No clue what the deal was with "nice" . Think we are assuming that is what the OP meant. I was excited I found the Key and Peele gif for your spray can.

J: When you have to say "we are assuming that is what the OP meant" you highlight the sad and ever more conspicuous fact that far to many people trying to enter the workforce today have no idea how to express themselves clearly in writing, and often not even when speaking. Apparently they were not taught English Grammar by the Nuns that I had in grade school. As far as punctuation goes, they just make that up as they go along.
Nooice, indeed!

You are not wrong. Sadly it also extends into people ability to verbally communicate with people as well.
