Hello peeps,

I have been on this forum for a few years, but I had an is250 before so I was on another page. I just sold it and bought this 2015 RC F-sport.
It had 39,500 miles and in great shape. i got it for a steal!

I'm looking to get a new set of tires for the rear, so let me know how wide I can go...I was thinking of going with 285/35/19 or at least 275/35/19... What do you think? Any rubbing issues with 285's?
Going to browse some of the posts and info on this group and see if I can learn anything before asking.

I run a 285/30/20 in the rear with no issues aside from a bit too much negative camber which I corrected with adjustable camber arms. A 285/35/19 should fit about the same.

Lookin good. Nice color
I had the same "anti-glare" peeling on my old 2015 nav screen. There is a service bulletin for it. See here: RC350/IS350 nav screen SB

wthrman2, Thanks for the welcome! I appreciate it.

jonmonkey, Thanks for the info on the tire size. I really want to run 285/35/19's on the rear.

RC350s, I actually got like 95% off it off with "Goo Gone" but it took a ton of elbow grease and many applications of applying and drying & repeating.

Is your car an AWD or RWD version? If AWD, keep in mind to keep a square set up! Awesome pickup btw!

^^ From the pics of his rear end, it appears to be RWD as I didn't see an AWD unless it was debadged....

I have an AWD, but was planning a staggered setup at some point in the future.

I read that as long as you keep the front and rear diameters within 1% of each other, you should be fine.

Does anyone have any experience with a staggered setup on an AWD RC?

Mine is RWD.... Gonna go with 285/35/19 on the rear and 245/40/19 on the fronts.

I did this a while ago and yes your right that keeping the overall wheel diameter as close to OEM spec is the key to protecting the AWD system. Some challenges I faced then with my previous suspension setup (Vossen 20' wheels, lowering springs and no rear camber kit) were that tires were wearing on the inside prematurely. Honestly going back to 19' wheels, adding a rear camber kit and getting alignment is perfect for this car imo. Good luck with yours!
