Default Rc350/ Takeda cai questions

Hello, I'm new to club lexus, so forgive me for anything I'm doing wrong here. I'm new to nodding cars, my current car is a 2015 rc350 base. I currently have a magma flow catback, and have bought a takeda cai. But the oem crank case hose isnt long enough, I tried to find some at auto part stores, but none are the correct size of molded to fit for my car. How did yall deal with this issue, or what should I do. I really want to install my cai

For my takeda cai the crank case hose is long enough but then it slips off after driving. So then I went and bought myself some hose clamps from home depot https://www.homedepot.com/p/Everbilt...2595/202309385, and these worked perfectly. Have been on there for more than half a year without ever falling off since the install.

Can confirm: Home Depot clamped worked for me as well (almost a full year now with no problems). I think I went with a 1/2" clamp. But I figure 3/4" and 1" would work too.

Not sure if you have the polished version of the CAI. That's what I have and I installed it with the HD hose clamp as well, but the hose still kept slipping off. So I I used a dremel to rough up the surface where the hose sits in combination with the hose clamp and have not had any issues for the past couple of weeks since the install.

Edit: It did seem initially that the hose wasn't long enough, but it just takes a little bit of force to get he hose seated. I had everything tightened down before I resolved the hose issue, so it might be better to get the hose seated and secured before tightening the rest of the intake down.

I had no problems with the polished version (dry filter) once I used the HD hose clamp. Here's a picture

The CAI was the first mod I had ever done, and I am fairly new to the forums as well, so no worries there. My hose was molded but still flexible enough to bend to where it needs to be. Looks like it has straightened out since bending it. It slipped off so easily because it didn't want to bend to fit the new CAI. The clamp solved this just fine.
