Squeaking noise when going over bumps *sometimes*
Hi All
I'm hoping someone has seen this issue or can give suggestions on a fix. Lately, when I go over bumps I hear a squeaking noise that sounds like its coming from the front end. It doesn't happen over *every* bump, only sometimes. I'm lowered on OEM lowering springs with no other suspension mods. I had it at the dealer for service and they claimed not to hear the noise and their suspension check said everything was A-OK. Let me know what you think or if you have any suggestions on what to check. I did see some threads suggesting the door or hood bushings might need to be greased or adjusted and I checked that and they appeared OK. Thanks in advance.

The noise apparently comes from the two-piece rotors that these f sports come with, I thought the noise came from the lowering springs being installed wrong but after asking my shop to reinstall the lowering springs and also checking in with my local Lexus dealer, I have concluded that the noise probably came from the two-piece rotors somehow hitting each other over bumps and under braking. I always hear the squeaky noise as I am backing out of the garage(slowly releasing the brakes), and also coming to a stop(slowing applying the brakes). So I wouldn't worry about it if you can make sure the struts and the springs were installed correctly and torqued to the right specs.

I had a slight squeaking noise come from the front end of my 2015 RC 350 F Sport. I noticed it while driving over bumps occasionally. I realized I could replicate the sound if, while parked, I leaned down on the front of the car. I figured it was something suspension related, but it turned out to be the hood latch. Once the dealer replaced it, the sound was never heard again.
I could see hard breaking or bumps making similar sounds, so I would suggest seeing if you could replicate the sound while parked and then inquiring about it being one of the hood latches. I don't have any more detail than this, as this is all the dealer told me.

This issue sounds like it should happen on every bump. I had this issue on my rc <400 miles. Took it in and they tightened the power brakes and voila. Gone. It did come back though after driving 5k miles.
That's the part that is driving me crazy, its not consistent. I agree, it should be every bump but it isn't. I checked the hood latch as well and that's not it. It also does not happen while braking, just slow speed driving is where I notice it the most. The dealer couldn't reproduce the sound so I'm taking it to an independent shop on Thursday to have everything checked to see if I can get this sorted out.
Yeah it happened on speeds under 30. Probably around neighborhoods with cracks and sewers on the roads. I hope the shop can take care of it. It's really annoying when you want to cruise with windows open.
