2019 es 350 , I set my touchpad feedback force setting to off, but after a few restarts the force is back and the setting is still indicates off. To turn the force off again i need to change the setting to 1 and then back to off. Do I have a problem or am I doing something wrong?

Reason: missing word
That being said, with this being a brand new car, I would ask the dealer about the issue you’re experiencing. I have never turned off the force feedback for the trackpad or puck systems, so I haven’t experienced what you’re describing. Honestly, I’m not sure why you would not want force feedback for the interface, but the option should work.
Thank you for taking the time to INFORM me that I posted to the wrong forum, it was my first post. I have re-posted my problem to the correct forum. I find it interesting that you thought the idea to consult with my dealer would have never been within my thinking, nor do I understand how you could emphatically state what should work when you did not even take the time to try and turn off the force feedback. And as a final thought, the fact that you could not understand why a user would turn off force feedback explains your limited thinking on this matter.

Wow, really??? Tone down the attitude if you want people to help. I don’t appreciate being attacked and I’ll be sure to ignore your requests for help in the future. My apologies for assuming you would want to post the inquiry in the correct model forum to get the most accurate responses.
Additionally, I merely stated why I was replying but unable to provide a solution. I’ve lived with modern Lexus infotainment systems for the past 6+ years and I never had issues with adjusting the feedback levels, though never turned it off. You have a brand new vehicle and the dealership tech department is your best option for help with such an issue. It’s either user error (doubtful) or it’s a software glitch that needs identified and repaired by Lexus.
No, just tired of responses that waste time and space for the sake of seeing one's own words in print - without any substance. These are my final words on this matter
Sincerely, your not helping when your response does not address the stated issue. I'm sure you meant well but it's best to respond when you have a real solution or are experiencing the same problem. Enjoy your day
1. Learn proper forum etiquette, you have much to learn. If someone doesn't answer the way you expect and is off topic. Just ignore the poster. No need to be nasty.
2. Change you user name. Folks here have long memories and you will receive no help going forward.
