Default Clock - Not taking daylight savings

I had bought a new RX 350 two weeks back. After last sunday, I expected the clock to change one hr back automatically as my settings had daylight savings as "ON". But it didn't happen.
Anything else need to be done?

Thanks

Yes. I went into setup to check if it was set to be automatic (it was) and toggled that setting off and on. As I did that, the clock updated.

Might be a bug on the 2013s.

I turned mine off to reset the time, then I turned it back on and the time jumped back to DST. I had to leave it off to keep the right time.

hey guys,
i think you guys are confused on how the daylight savings time toggle works. basically, it is not automatic. you toggle it to off in the fall. you toggle it back on in the spring. leaving it on means you are on daylight savings time. leaving it off means you are on "not" on daylight savings time. it only switches plus or minus one hour to make it easier for the average person to figure out than to manually adjust the clock.

you will notice that your tv's are set that way too.

It implies in the instruction book that it gets EXACT time from GPS like an atomic clock; all of my atomic clocks and watches adjust automatically just as cable boxes do???

the DLS on and off does not mean: On: auto change when DLS happens

It just means "On" for moving 1 hour forward and "Off" for moving 1 hour back. This has been like this since my previous RX back in 2004 so it is not new.

I agree it is stupid but thanks Arizona and Hawaii. The clock is not connected to GPS and has no real way of knowing where it is, and in those two states they do not take DLS into account. I believe the new LS has a clock linked to GPS and I wonder if it auto changed

Watch it there.....Don't pick on us AZ boys.....LOL The new LS actually adjusts as it travels through time zones.

Surprising that lexus missed such a trivial thing..My $100 iphone 3G does it seemlessly...

After turning off the day light savings feature make sure to hit save or else it won't.

Infinty is the same. It is confusing. For most electronics you click on or yes for the device to automatically change UNLESS you live in Arizona or Hawaii.

This is interesting. My just-sold 2008 Acura TSX uses radio to get time and it adjusts PST/PDT automatically.

Another Toyota electronic engineering debacle. However, once you get "onto" it, changing from DST to ST is really pretty easy.
