I've been wanting to increase the light output of my headlights over what the factory HID/projectors offer. It's not that the output on our current headlight is terrible but I find that I would like a bit more clarity/brightness when driving at night.
Has anyone looked into a better performing projector/ballast? I've also considered a quad-projector retrofit but reading through some forums, a single high quality projector could be all that is required. Not sure where the RC's projectors/ballasts stand against other brands/makes though.
Your car has LED headlights. RC's came with standard LED with projector lens or optional triple beam LED in (2017 forward).
I improved my headlights by simply adjusting them up. I haven't been flashed by a passing car so I guess i didn't adjust them too high.
I got in contact with a retrofit company and they suggested to not mess with factory projectors/headlights since ours from the factory is very good, better than most of the available projector options. I'll take your advice and just try adjusting them up a little higher.
