Power Window Reset Procedure.
Anyone know the power window reset procedure for resetting the power windows after disconnecting the battery?
I've had the battery disconnected a few times recently while rebuilding the RC300 salvage car and the windows won't go up/down.
My wife's IS250 has a procedure where you have to do something like hold your breath, bounce in the seat twice. tune the radio to channel 100 and blow your nose
before the windows will work again after disconnecting the battery. I've tried the same on the RC 300 but no luck.
Thanks for any help anyone may be able to provide.

I don't have any practical experience with Lexus, but my Toyota / Subaru BRZ process was to hold down till the window is fully down and hold for a second or two longer. Then hold up till fully up and a second or two longer. I think I had to repeat this process once more. Your window should auto down and auto up just fine.
In my Honda S2000 the same process worked but for the passenger side window the process only worked with the passenger switch, NOT the switch on the driver's door. Go figure!

It turns out that the ECU-IGI No.1 fuse was blown. As soon as I replaced the fuse the windows started working. Why the window switch is tied into ECU-IGI No.1 is beyond me but that fuse also cleared up a crap load of CAN Bus related error codes as well as a other oddball errors.
