Front passenger window goes down and gets stuck when trying to put window up. How do I fix it myself?

 

Have you tried holding the up button 'up'? There is pinch protection that prevent window glass from moving.

Other than the simple thing above, there may be a problem with a relay ... search and you will find lengthy discussion on it.

It works fine to put the window down, but when I try putting it up, the window goes down the whole way if it's not already down the whole way. Then I have to hold the window lever up until it decides to go up. It takes awhile for it to respond and go back up. Not sure what the problem is.

 

cycle twice by holding the button till it reaches the top.

Did you disconnect the battery or did the battery run down. If so, the learning has to be done.

Nope, didn't do anything with the battery. I checked the fuse for the windows, and they are all good.
