Default Apexi Smart Controller

So I installed the Apexi Smart Accel Controller yesterday. I would have to agree with everyone that posted about it previously.....it is an awesome mod for the money. I drove around in "Red" for most of the day and in Sport+ with traction control off was pretty epic. I drove to work this morning in "Purple". The install was incredibly easy except for the fact that the Apexi button is a bit too big for the blank button spaces. I was hoping to remove a blank button and place the switch in it's place but it does not fit. Easy fix though as I simply cut a channel in the blank to allow the wire to pass and used double sided tape to stick it in place.

I am out of town so I cant take a pic right now, but I used a flat file to shave the top and bottom of button bezel right up to the button. Once shaved down, the button will slide into an empty button slot and stay there by tension. It seems risky, but payed off in the looks department.

I have only driven in the "red" and "purple" modes as I plan to use the economy mode driving to and from work and the high throttle mode when I want to have fun. I do not notice much difference in economy mode but there is a noticeable difference in high throttle mode. Then again, it might all be in my head too.
