almost out...
My fellow Lexus friends and fans, it is with a somewhat heavy heart that I'm about to bid farewell to my RC Coupe. Tomorrow I take delivery of a Mercedes C300 sedan with premium and multimedia packages, panoramic roof, lighted Benz grill star, and numerous other goodies. The M.B. Dealer bought out the remainder of my Lexus lease, and gave me $6500 off the msrp on the Benz, cause it's a '16, plus threw in ceramic window tint. The $1400 loss on the lease pay-out was more than mitigated by the deal on the new one.
To all those here, I wish you all the best with your RC's, which is a truly fine car...just time for me to move on to something else. I am a Lexus fan, so I'll be back....

After 5 days I'm digging the C300. Granted, I'm still in the "honeymoon" phase. For me, the car is very comfortable and I like the multimedia set-up a lot. The displays are beautiful. Never really fond of the iPad-like screen, but it is a trend now, and functionally, it's great.
My impression of the performance is that the car feels lighter, more spritely than my RC. The gas mileage seems better, but no figures to report thus far. Overall, I am quite satisfied ditching the Lexus lease for the purchase, and so far, no regrets.
Thanks to those for the well wishes.
