Rc200t tune or chip yet???
I doubt the car would throw a code because its turbo spooled faster. Yes de-catting will make a decent power gain, but you'd make a huge gain in indecency. Not only is it illegal, it's irresponsible and causes unneeded pollution. Pollution penalty not worth it considering the upgrade would be going from 0-60 in 6.9s to 6.8.
And as far as only gaining a tenth from removing a cat on a forced induction vehicle, you're not really on target. In my years of constantly screwing with forced induction cars, I've gained a lot more than a tenth by doing that mod. Not only is it more overall hp, but it comes on quicker too. No comparison.
The time goes by, but it seems peoples are starting to crack the shell of the RC proc.
Here, I found a german specialist, making 300 hp and more than 400 Nm of torque out of the 200t. Looks interesting. I'm sure the 200t would be a beast with that power output.
