Guys... It Puzzles Me why Lexus doesn't provide this LED Courtesy Door Lights as a factory Option on the RC or even the F.

I've seen this factory logo ghost light on many domestic cars standard, which looks very nice.

I saw a pair of these LED Ghost shadows on EBAY for about $23.00, even cheaper if you order them straight from China. LOL.


Simple installation. Pop the old light cover out with a small screw driver ( as described in other threads) and pop in the new one. Install Time about 10 minutes total.

Now , I am in question on adding LED Door Sills or do you think that would be to much lighting in such a small area. "AKA LEX BLING"'

Probably cause it's not for everyone. It's a nice inexpensive mod but I personally wouldn't do it to my RCF. I did however do the lighter door sills.

 

Agreed. I saw a site that actually sells factory OEM LED. You swap out just like these shadow ones. They retailed for $40. Don't know why Lexus chintz out on these when they are available.

 

You can actually get projectors without the circle, which looks a bit better.

Go for the illuminated door sills. I have both on my car, and it looks great. I get many compliments.

Lexus really should've made the courtesy lights LEDs to match the rest of the car.

I was at the dealer over the weekend in their accessory department. I Just happened to see the same projector lamps on top of a display case, selling as a dealer installed option item. I inquired on the price.. $80.00.
I was like wow... I was at a lost for words. At least its dealer approved. LOL

These were great for about a year. For some reason, driver's side one started projecting with a green hue. I've ordered these ones as replacements:

They look good to me.

I also have the ghost shadow installed on my GS.

 

I put in my vehicle 2015 Lexus RC350 Fsport and it said it wasn't compatible. Will the ones in the link work?

 

The RC is not one of the compatible vehicles. This sucks as I have an RC as well.

I went through the entire list and didn't see RC listed. Then I entered it in to see if over looked it and it gave me this. Now, I see where it is listed under the Application part of the description. Guess I will just have to risk it? lol
