Anyone paint or dip (not wrap) their chrome window trim?

The trim is actually quite easy to remove. Pull out the rubber weather stripping to expose the screws and simply unscrew about 8 small screws. I wrapped mine but you have to remove it to do it properly sine you need to apply the wrap and then performed a cut along the black trim area... pretty easy and it come out really well. For the rear, I didn't bother removing it, but rather I left it chrome with a small angled cut piece that I used for a better transition that complements the way the chrome on the rear transitions to the lower flat black area. It's been over a year and no issues and still looks brand new.
The Plastidip get dull and loses its satin sheen. I've done the plastidip on the from lower dark gray trim of the bumper and it's held up well, but you definitely see the wear and tear difference in the shine.
