I'm also guessing (just guessing) since the majority of ISs in the U.S. are AWD that the RC will be available here with it.

True but the RC is being positioned as a more performance oriented model unlike the IS. Expect an AWD configuration only in the base 2.0T model, not the 350 & F-Sport. They will be RWD only.
