Bitkahuna as moderator has to be impartial but in this case, in his attempt not to appear to be a Lexus fanboy, I think he's gone all the way in the opposite direction and fallen off the deep end.
lol - the vague comparison to the mazda wasn't meant negatively - the mazda 6 has been reviewed positively almost universally. of course it's a 4 door regular sedan, not a sporty coupe.
the rc is nice! it does remind me of something else, maybe from europe, but can't quite pin it down.
I was a negative critic of the 3IS but Lexus have totally redeemed themselves with this!
They have somehow managed to blend the smooth & luxury design of previous Lexus with the new sporty Lexus design scheme and the result is fantastic. It will also look 10x better in person!
And the interior seems to have gotten a vast improvement over the 3IS
Love the side view. Love the rear view (despite those odd vents). Love those headlights.
The grille? O.o
Odd that putting on a plate actually helps the look in this case... anyone agree? Helps "cut" the wide expanse of black in the middle.
Hopefully the F-Sport version will improve the look of the grille... But I'm also balking at the imagined visual of that massive black area ALL in one continuous mesh. Yikes!
It looks so different from the IS sedan and merits a whole new nomenclature unlike the BMW 4 series which just looks exactly like a 3 series minus 2 doors.
AND it's so much sexier than the BMW 4 series which looks like they ran out of ideas after designing the 3 series.
Makes the BMW 4 series look like warmed over leftovers.
I have seen a 435i M-sport in a beautiful blue paint on the road few times. It looks great, much better than the 3-series.
