Back to the acronym puzzle

Any chance that TVD could refer to Torque Vectoring with the D as Distribution or Dynamics

Looks great! I wasn't sure if I'll like the rear bumper side "cut" but it turned out very well.

No foglights though!

I'm in love with those seats!! I wanna swap them into my IS-F!

So who's got plans to buy one of these bad boys? C'mon! Spill!

According to lexusenthusiast, reporting from Automobile Mag, it's gonna be 3970 lbs? Yikes... Not gonna beat the M4 on a track if that's correct...

The only coupe I've ever seen that I've been halfway tempted to buy is the A5/S5. Other than that I'm not really a coupe person, I prefer a sedan. THIS I want!

I love the black chrome trim around the grille too...

Different level of cars bro, even though is from the same company.

If the IS-F didn't have coilover, the RC-F won't either.

The LFA also have carbon rotor, equal length headers, leather wrapped dash.............do you see any of that on any other Lexus other then the LS600 having a leather wrapped dash?

Ok... I was pretty sure the new GS has leather dash pad. But really that doesn't matter..

RCF - > Carbon Fiber Roof, Active Rear Spoiler, Updated Brembo OE Brakes, Alcantara Dash area.. (list goes on & on)

"The form of each component is carefully designed to contribute to performance", said RC F chief engineer Yukihiko Yaguchi. "Unique air outlets in the hood and rear section of the front fenders contribute to optimum engine cooling and vehicle handling stability. They create an aggressive look that immediately conveys the expectation of a dynamic driving experience."

I'm just saying it is very possible the RC F will have a unique suspension set up..

Technically the IS-F does have a coil over shock set up.. Its just not adjustable or variable.. (Neither is the LFA's by an owner)

The exterior of this car is way too busy for me but I certainly respect it. Good on Lexus for bringing the heat, finally.

Yeah, but we're talking about turbo motors here. The M4 will be underrated, I can guarantee it.

I wish Lexus would drop the details already. Media is reporting everything from 450-480hp and it would be a shame if the general consensus was 480hp, then Lexus debuted the car with 460 hp and it's a "bust". That invitation that was circling the net last week said 460, so that is what I'm expecting, but 480 would be great!

Yes some 4GS and some 14' LS460 have leather dash now.............it is getting more common, but you got my point. Different level of equipment depends on the level of the car.

Those are all features you find on this level..........M4, RS5, C63......etc.

Unique tuning for sure, different spring/damper/sway bar rate for sure, but no threaded shock body fully height adjustable.

When I say coilover, I mainly meant threaded shock body to allow height adjustability. The meaning of coilover really just mean a spring over a shock, so basically all struts are coilover

I think they both look good actually and only true enthusiasts are going to be able to tell the normal RC apart from the F. I'd personally be fine with the looks of an RC350 in my garage.

Goes to show Lexus really nailed the Spindle on the RC-F. The regular version though is like they are trying to hard. I don't find it elegant which is what the non F or F-Sport is supposed to accomplish. Shame

At the rear axle is a torque-vectoring differential that can be programmed via the TVD switch on the console for standard, slalom, or track vectoring. That middle position optimizes for very quick side-to-side transitions found in magazine slalom tests and autocross courses.
