I am betting the M4 may be a bit faster, as BMW is also known for underrating their engines and the M4 could very well be putting out power close to the RC F but with a ~400lb advantage.

My personal opinion, and one that I think many buyers shopping in this class will agree with, is that the RC even in standard form looks far more exotic than the M4. Aside from the overwrought bumpers, the car is relatively flat looking...nowhere near as beautifully styled or detailed as the RC. I hope that the RC F does not look over styled because the car they're basing it on is gorgeous. Those details and proportions, with F performance and credentials, will make it a very appealing buy even if M4 is faster.
performance is not just 0-60...

There is no better time to implement cf and weight saving technology, developed by LFA experience, than RC-F

I can't wait to see what it looks like. I'm very interested in seeing how it compares to the M4, C63 AMG coupe, ATS-V coupe and ect.

i was thinkin the same. they gotta somehow make it little bit more vanilla, so F stands out bit more.

I hope they keep it elegant. Lexus needs to understand that they're not an aggressive brand.

Clean, smooth and well flowing lines always looks good!

perhaps I missed the post, but that "400lb" difference is between the 5-Series and GS. RC-F will be heavier than the M4 but the BMW won't be a feather weight either

people are thinking that M4 and RC-F will be 400lbs weight difference... since RC will be heavier than 3IS (due to being built for CC from the start) and M4 is supposed to be lighter than F30... then with F30 being lighter than 3IS, the 400lbs idea is being thrown around :-)

F is being shown at Detroit for sure.. few days left.

It's eerily quiet about the RC F-Sport.
